Recover & Refuel (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Recover & Refuel mobile application and recoverrefuel.com website (together, the “Services”). This policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, and managed when you use our Services.

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

  • Account and contact information: name, email address, login credentials or authentication identifiers, and communications with support.
  • Athletic and wellness entries: sports, teams, seasons, games, opponents, game statistics, goals and assists, sleep, workouts, food or nutrition information, readiness assessments, goals, notes, and journal entries you choose to provide.
  • Teammate and sharing details: team names, recipient information and messages you submit when using sharing or inspiration features.
  • Technical and usage data: device and app information, IP address, logs, app interactions, cookies, analytics, and diagnostic data where collected through our website, app, or service providers.
  • Subscription information: subscription status, purchase identifiers and entitlement information received from the relevant app store. Apple and Google generally process in-app payment credentials; we do not need your complete payment-card number to verify a store subscription.

How We Use Information

We use information to maintain accounts, deliver game preparation and recovery features, calculate readiness and season summaries, save and display entries, send requested teammate messages, manage access to subscription features, provide support, maintain security, troubleshoot, measure and improve the Services, and comply with applicable law. We do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

Service Providers and Sharing

We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the Services, such as hosting, account authentication, analytics, crash reporting, email delivery, store subscription validation, and media or GIF integrations. Their handling of information is governed by their applicable terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information at your direction (for example, sharing a message with a teammate), to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Third-party providers may process limited information needed to deliver their services.

Subscriptions and Payments

Our planned offer is a 30-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, followed by $4.99 per month unless canceled. Purchases made in the mobile app are expected to be processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; their privacy policies apply to the payment information they collect. Data Retention and Your Choices

We retain information while it is needed to operate the Services and for legitimate support, security, legal, and recordkeeping purposes, then delete or de-identify it as appropriate. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable laws and technical limitations. For account deletion requests, use the app’s available account controls or our Contact & Support form.

Children and Teen Users

The Services are intended for athletes and their families. The Services are not intended for children under 13 to create or operate their own accounts. A parent or legal guardian should manage any permitted use on behalf of a younger child. Teen users should use the Services with appropriate parental involvement where required.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No Internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and External Links

Our website and third-party tools may use cookies and similar technologies to operate, understand usage, and improve the Services. Browser settings may allow you to manage cookies.
